Lui Water (Day 23)

Walked up this tributary to the Dee, as far as the bridge, about half way to Derry Lodge. Considered going all the way to the Lodge but we were more rambling than hiking today so we turned around.
Walked up the other side of the Lui to inspect a spot where most of the river seemed to disappear into a hole on the far side of an island. It turned out it did disappear but into a very narrow and deep gorge before returning to its more normal form.
A day with only a little rain…
