Artichokes are starting to ripen.
I seem to take it for granted that the plants, just in general, keep producing year after year. I don’t give them nearly enough fertilizer and am surprised that the harvests turn out to be meager.
After a nice nap during my massage I felt fit enough to work really hard in the yard. Finally all the seedlings are planted and I hope that they will not be disturbed by moles and the likes. I had to turn all the soil over before planting.
Now the main task for the next three weeks will be weeding. Problem are the uneven surfaces. My balance is definitely a problem.
