Heavenly Help is Just a Phone Call Away

The once ubiquitous Phone Booth that has quietly disappeared from street corners of Every Town, has surreptiously reappeared in various remote locations. Madonna commandeered this one on Mount Subasio, Umbria. Madonna in a Booth appeared as I was pedaling uphill in a light drizzle. A perfect moment and excuse to pause for a heavenly chat with this lovely lady. Today’s mission was to cycle about 20 miles around Mt. Subasio, elevation gain was about 1500 feet. The loop from Spello included a brief visit to St. Francis in Assisi. Lots of saints in these parts.
