OLD BIKE

On the theory that one can never have enough motorcycle photos I offer this beautiful 1952 R68 BMW.  I came across it at a bike show and immediately started to miss my old 1976 R90/6.  I rode that bad boy for 34 years and put on 240,000 miles (386,000+km).

Never should have sold it but the mechanical clutch was raising cane with my arthritic left wrist.  And when a guy offered me $200 more than I paid for it when I bought it, the first thought that came into my head was .....SOLD!  He wanted a winter project and desired to turn it into a cafe' racer.  I've not seen the result.
