All of them are partly read and a constant reminder to get back into them.

I’m really struggling with the Alan Rickman diary. It has its moments of insight and humour from a remarkable actor but, there is a lot of name dropping with footnotes to explain who the ‘names’ are.

I had to stop reading the Billingham novel - it was making me feel ill with the murder descriptions. Just enough information to be unnerving.
