or homes - or yarn - or thread - or whatever that is... do you see it? the strangest thing ever... insects and itty-bitty things were in abundance at my little lake today - it was hot - sticky - humid - and creepy, crawly things were everywhere - i had a lovely time investigating in the weeds - am fearful i will end up with another stupid rash like i had last summer - as some bumps are already forming on my one of my lower legs - my resistance must be extremely low these days...

yet it's worth it - to experience the magic of creation - the damsels were flitting about like nobody's business - swarming around me; i swear they knew i had a camera - i saw more grasshoppers than i could count and came this close to posting one - and i observed more ladybugs than i've seen to date this summer - this one getting caught up in this webbing - looking like it's spinning its very own - anyone have a clue about that? seen such a thing? to top it off - the wood duck ducklings were floating about with mama wood duck - i even saw them sort of running on top of the water - wasn't quick enough to capture that sight - maybe next time 'cuz i'm sure you're all thinking, "right!" but they really were - it was funny - i laughed out loud - it made for such...
