Busy Bees

Plural because we have had a rather hectic though enjoyable time visiting with good friends from years back Geoff and Helene (Rainette) - lovely salad and amazing rhubarb frangipane cake! Then I headed downtown with my b-I-l Bryn to help him buy a card for paultrapia whose birthday was being celebrated in the evening. Bryn was his usual gregarious self even though his speech is not always understandable as he waylaid an Aston Villa supporter in WH Smith. How do I know he supported Villa you ask? Because Bryn’s first 2 questions are “Do you like football” and “Who do you support?” I love how he engages with anyone who passes by.

In the evening we had a very tasty barbeque and celebrated Paul’s birthday, only realising later on that we had celebrated it last year with a lovely meal out with him and his now wife Felicity. A good day and busy just like this little creature I captured in Rainette’s flourishing garden.
