Mooring posts, Derwentwater

Firstly a huge thank you to all who commented on my completion of my Wainwright Challenge yesterday - and a special thanks to those who gave some sponsorship too. The Blip community really is special!

Today I - understandably - took it easy, and had a few emails to send through to some sponsors. But I also received in the post a 16 stop ND filter for my Fuji. I could use my Lee Super stopper, but was looking for something really compact to go with the system. I visited the edge of the lake in the evening, to try it out - this was a 4 minute exposure to really smooth out the water and get lots of movement in the clouds. I'm looking forward to try this combination out when I visit Emma in London later in the year.

There was a touch of colour in the sky, and the filter is blissfully neutral in colour, unlike many more expensive ones!
