So Many Choices!

Editor and I both had appointments with our dentist today.  This took us to my Boston suburban haunt from the '80s: funky, eclectic Jamaica Plain.  Here, in 1981 - so their website tells me -, the ice cream company, JP Licks, was founded, not so long before my tenure began there.  Their headquarters is in an old Victorian firehouse with a huge selection of earthly delights on offer on the ground floor where the firetrucks used to park.  We felt that, after the application of surgical steel to soft gum tissue, we deserved a treat...
