That Will Do!

Dunbar

We spent the day with my old school friend C and her husband J, who are on holiday with their motorhome in Dunbar.

On the site is this building. On the NLS 25in map for 1892-1949 it is described as a Summer House, possibly for Broxmouth House.

On other sources it is called an observatory, for Sloebigging, which lies on the road for Broxmouth from the East Lodge. I had assumed it to be a stable or farmstead. Impossible to check that as it has been demolished.

Sadly it is now neither, fenced off as Nd open to the elements.
