Fuzzy Deutzia…

… A little walk into town took me past this pretty plant. (Himself is pretty good on IDs for plants and he was in two minds about this one, so I’ve gone with what the encyclopaedia in my pocket suggested. Sorry Himself).

In the meantime I have been perplexed (in a nice way). We are invited to a wedding. How lovely. (How expensive too!).
It’s so long since we went to a wedding, I am totally out of touch with the protocol.
(It’s all on-line these days. I don’t even know the happy couple’s postal address).
They want no gifts, but ‘money for the honeymoon’ instead.
I can see I really need to do some research about what amount is expected/usual. (Is it me or was it so much easier when an anonymous wedding list was circulated and you just ticked off the gift that felt in the right price range?).

And then there needs to be a new outfit.. Shoes? (Actually, in fairness, I am quite up for new shoes). A bag? (Not a rucksack apparently). Perhaps I could resurrect an old outfit? (Surely fashion can’t have changed so much in… ooo - don’t). Accommodation? … (HOW much??!) Aaarrrgh!!!

But, won’t it be nice? :-)
