Green Frog in Red Pail

The sun came out for a bit this morning, and you could hear just about every lawn mower in town fire up, taking advantage of the lull in the rain. I was able to pull some of the monster weeds that have sprung up in the vegetable patch.

We also worked on our frog catching skills. I was angling for a bullfrog, but all I caught was this young green frog. If you look closely, you can see that the stump of its tail is still there.

A thunderstorm rolled in this afternoon. So far, it looks like July may be a continuation of June. GRRRRibbit.
