Poppies inside and out

I was experimenting with iPhone portrait mode this afternoon and this is the result!
It was a bright and less windy day. We spent most of it in the garden including fixing up wires for our climbing plants and trying to tame the current belated growth spurt. We also debated whether to get the hose out as all our water butts are now empty. Despite the cool cloudy weather we have had very little rain over the last four weeks.
