Alfie and his splendid tail

I thought Alfie's tail was looking particularly impressive.

At long last the grass on the back green was cut this morning, I'm very relieved to say. It was a long-drawn-out process to achieve this. I'm really hoping to pass it on to someone else next year - I find organising these common expenses really wearing, and there seem to have been a whole succession of them over the last few months. 

At my literature class I was in a minority of one over Time Shelter as the rest of the group had enjoyed the book. I'm probably just not intellectual enough. Never mind, we are having lunch next week which will curtail the discussions.
