Sniffed by a Snake

A middle school teacher brought these snakes in as part of her lesson then opened up her class for others later in the day. When I brought my students, some stayed as close to the door as they could while others wanted to get up close.

There was something oddly similar when the snake stuck its tongue out to lick/sniff my nose and when my dog “kisses” my nose.
