Red flower

I haven't done a flower blip for ages.

All work and late home left me a bit blipless. Mr E did a BBQ - beer can chicken! Together with burgers chips and salad. Excellent! Even better knowing he had done it all, with home made smoked paprika rub and everything. Soooo impressed.

Mrs C brought these flowers over on Sunday as a gift. I thought they would make a good subject for a macro - and give me the chance to try out these macro lenses I have. Focusing is a bit tricky and the DoF is wafer thin. But...good fun and could make for some interesting abstracts I think.
