Artists in residence

I had a lovely lunchtime walk in Inveresk Lodge Garden which was an oasis of peace and serenity, with people enjoying the colours and smells of the summer garden.

This included a number of artists painting away. I had a lovely talk with a lady who offered me some of her lunch, which I politely declined, as I was looking forward to a fish finger sandwich back at home.
