A view from Jeanneb

Bingley Arts Centre ..

.. has a new look. I was driving past today heading for Saltaire when I decided to stop to take this shot. We’ve watched work on the new multicoloured facade since we got back from Bath and today was an opportunity for a closer look.

I like it.
There was a poster up for Sondheim’s ‘Company’ next month. We have tickets. Grace performed in the musical some years ago at the Rondo theatre in Larkhall, Bath. Seems funny now as they were living in Bristol at the time and had no idea that they would soon be living just above this village.

You can see it has been cloudy again with just a bit of sun now and then but no rain.

I continued on to Saltaire to find Victoria Road closed. The pavements were set with props for a film although the shop fascades hadn’t been changed. They are filming Alan Bennett’s ‘The Choral’ with Ranolph Fiennes. Set in fictional Ramsden in 1916. Will look forward to that - Wendles56 has blipped this today but I didn’t see her.

I had a coffee and a look around Salts Mill before returning home.
