Wallace

A busy day doing not very much. The car club changed the car I'd booked at the last minute so I had to grapple with an over-sized and over-thirsty Vauxhall Mokka which initially refused to cooperate. Apart from not being able to get it going at first it was bleating about Bluetooth. Saints preserve us. Dave came in the door just as I was packing up to leave - they'd been able to come home early due to a dearth of visitors. He was understandably much too tired/grubby/hungry to come with me.

Got to Stirling without incident, even finding a sneaky way to the rugby club. Google street view is a real boon, I'm sure I would have shot past the entrance without having seen that sneaky wee tunnel. Enjoyable gig (for me anyway!), with several old pals in attendance. As I was putting the instruments back in the car afterwards I liked the view of the Wallace Monument and the sky - couldn't do anything about the rugby pitch floodlights. Taken at 22:20, still quite bright. Easy drive home, D deep asleep and didn't even wake when I came in.
