still trucking...

Stick'em up!

Every year someone gets hit or ran over by a company truck. Sadly a few people have died over the years. We can't see you when you walk in front of the truck because of the large hood We are required to wear high visibility clothing anytime we are outside on company property. This goes for every employee not just drivers.

Please, if you ever walk in front of a truck do these two things, 1. Make eye contact with the driver. 2. Hands as high as you can hold them as you walk in front of the truck. So many times over the years, I have seen the hands but not the rest of the person.

A 13 hour work day yesterday and today. In trucking you make money when there is freight - that way when things slow down, you are okay.
