Mobile Hide

With unusual foresight, I took my camera with me in the mobile hide (aka motor vehicle). On my way back from the shops, I saw something big-ish fly up into these trees.

Poking the camera out of the window and following where I thought it went, I spied this marvellous great horned owl watching back through the leaves.

A second shot caught its tail as it disappeared. Thank goodness I got this image.
