Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...

First day commuting by bike for Mel in about two years. I don't think she liked it. 5 minutes from home she asked "How can you stand doing this every day?" as yet another pedestrian just sauntered out into the road without looking. That, and the cars, and the busy shared use paths, it was somewhat more 'involving' than my normal commute. Which is why I can stand it every day. So new cyclists have a choice between slightly random, disconnected, and poorly demarcated cycle facilities; or the roads.

It'll be a while before Mel tries it again I think.

p.s. Porty Beach on a sunny day, there are some things that should be best left to the imagination...
