Wildfire season has started!

This is the second wildfire in 3 days very near the village. This one, between our village and Almiropotamos, burnt for a few hours before it was put out by firefighters on the ground and fireplanes and helicopters. The wind was north east so blowing it away from our village, but towards Almiropotamos. Fortunately it was put out by early evening so didn't affect our friend's big 60th birthday party down at Zarka beach, which was a great success.
