Holding On

The stream water glides by gently. Meanwhile these plants with their tiny yellow flowers thrive as they grow in the crevices of the bridge. Amazing they have enough to sustain them.

Thanks for your good wishes for my swollen toe. I’ve done a few short walks today but mainly been at my desk - probably a good thing for a change.

- To have completed my first day back at work after last week’s leave.
- To an allotment plot holder who stopped to give me some spare red cabbage plants. I need to prepare a bed for them and some protection from pigeons before I plant them out.
