Is It Safe?

Two chipmunks were scurrying about pouching up the sunflower seeds I had just placed in various spots. I believe they’re younger ones as they weren’t quite sure about me but it didn’t deter them from their foraging duties. I did see Stumpy earlier but have not seen Freckles for over a month, nor Foxy. It isn’t easy being an eastern chipmunk • MrsP and I weeded for a couple of hours, then I planted a creeping phlox in the trying-to-be-a rock garden. We really need to spend more time there but it’s always a low priority, and looks it! • Clouds are gathering overhead threatening a brief shower or thunderstorm • Peace & Love
