Lazy Action Photography !

I thought I would capture the bees buzzing round our escallonia bush the easy way by using continuous capture high which in the car of my Sony X10 is 20 frames a second. Now the capture stage is relatively easy as long as you can ensure that the focus remains on the bee. However, just after ten or more shots I found I had about 500 or more images which means it takes a lot longer to download onto the computer and convert them to DNG which I need as I use four or so cameras regularly. And then sorting through these 500 images to find the best ones takes ages before all the normal Lightroom and Photoshop tweaks. Now I am not so sure about which is more time efficient technique.

I have in fact chosen a couple of images which give you the best views of bee anatomy including the proboscis which is usually hidden way inside the flowers.
