Menorca Day 3
Woke up to sunny skies, a pleasant surprise given yesterday's cloud and the fact that WeatherPro said it would be the same again.
Dad went for a run and upon returning, the pool was once again quiet, so a swim was in order to cool down. The sun stayed out, so we soaked up some rays. We had the pool to ourselves all morning, and turning the sun loungers around revealed the incredible view of the bay.
A swim before lunch involved a game of catch with a juggling ball. Orla swam a few lengths and mentioned it completely exhausted her. We enjoyed lunch round a table in the shade by the pool (shown in the photo). Full relaxation mode.
Went to the beach in the afternoon. Orla went to get ice creams and returned in a hurry with two melting cones in hand. They were quickly devoured while watching the waves and observing the beach dwellers. Dad went for a swim. The usually clear water was far from clear due to the waves stirring up the sand.
Another FaceTime with Mum and Conor at 7:15pm. We had planned to go out for dinner, but Orla was exhausted (the swim did her in) so Dad went back to the shop to get some more pasta sauce. Watched some Love Island.
