Ballpoint Pen Day - plus 1

Yesterday was National Ballpoint Pen Day - but I was too busy celebrating a birthday and didn't have time to create a Blip marking this special day.
Back on June 10th 1943 when I was just 1yr old, the Hungarian Bíró brothers took a giant leap for pen-kind by securing a patent for their creation - a small invention that made a big impact on how we communicate.
Whilst I like to use a fountain pen, the ballpoint pen is so much more convenient.  This is my special pen - made from a used Highland Park oak whisky cask.
