the original Disney castle

the publicity material in Segovia tells you that this was the inspiration for the disney castle - it's certainly impressive.
We visited the beautiful gardens at La Granja in the morning, had a mountain drive and spent the hottest part of the day in the air conditioned car, then came to Segovia, a golden town with lovely buildings.
