New Kit!

I must record my thanks to the wonderful folks at Leeds Apple Store who put me and my new Mac back together this morning after I thought I had a cyber attack on my new machine yesterday.  My panic at the messages appearing, long story short, resulted in me being locked out of the Mac and worrying that my credit card details had been accessed.

Before I attended my familiarisation session at the Store this morning I spoke with Tom who kindly listened to my story and, without any condescension, explained I need not have worried.  He then booked me in to a tech session after the familiarisation with Izzy, another bright young thing who educated and entertained us both for an hour, teaching Tony a few new things about his machine.  Afterwards there was a bit of a wait for a tekkie but then wonderful Matt appeared and put it all right!  Together with Tec, who set up my Mac yesterday, we were very impressed with how we were looked after and supported without any of that 'oh no another oldie who shouldn't be allowed near tech' attitude we've occasionally encountered in the past.  Thank you Leeds Apple folk!
