Grey Heron

I had a walk at Rouken Glen and finished up meeting Bob at the pond.  It was a very pleasant afternoon, and we were enjoying the sun and the unexpected warmth when a Grey Heron flew in and landed very near to us at the side of the pond.

Naturally the camera was put to good use and I took a few shots, sadly I missed his take off, so have put the best one I got on as my blip. Not perfectly focussed, but hey ho!!!

This weather is super for drying the washing too!
