Egyptian Geese

Today we decided to go out to Millennium Lake across town in Hykeham for a change. The weather was cloudier than forecast unfortunately - some sunny intervals had been suggested but those we had were too short to be called intervals really.

Still it is a good place for a walk and fairly quiet today other than a few dog-walkers. It's more overgrown and seems less managed than it used to be. There are fewer views across the lake but the wildness is probably better from a nature point of view. 

It was lovely to see that these two Egyptian geese are still here.

On the drive home we popped into Lidl and raided their bakery section for lunch. They have one of the best supermarket bakeries I'd say - certainly plenty of variety!
