Too hot!!!!

I know it's a typically British thing to moan when it's too cold, or too wet or too hot and there's just no pleasing us, but I really can't take this heat! My body just doesn't work, I'm completely zapped. I want to enjoy the sunshine, I like sunshine, but the heat makes me so tired I'm faint with it.

I tried to sit outside for a bit because it seems like utter madness to be lying around indoors when it's so sunny but I only lasted 5 minutes before I was so uncomfortable and lightheaded I dizzily retreated back inside and spent the rest of the day in front an electric fan.
Read a bit of my book, had a snooze....lovely.

Bugger the sunshine I'm staying in the house.
