Waiting

One of the necessities of the day meant taking our car to be serviced. We had an afternoon appointment and so the temperature had risen to at least 27 degrees by then, with a rather hot breeze.
So while they were servicing the car, what did we do to keep cool?
Went across to a carpet shop and looked at (and felt) wool carpets - the one we liked was made from Jacob sheeps wool and was manufactured in Axminster before the company closed (and later rescued).
But then we sat in the waiting area of the Nissan showroom, where it was air conditioned, had comfortable chairs and iced water available.
We didn't look at these new models, as ours will do us for a while yet!
