Emotional Support Chicken (ESC). She needs a comb and a wattle, and some stuffing. I am very close to being finished, but I’ve done something to my wrist and can’t do much of anything! The last time this happened I just waited it out, with ice, heat, compression and salve. Deja vu.

If you’re new to ESCs, note that I got to them via Blipper KD, who told us about Hannah, a knitter who is on a quest to knit in every library in Vermont. Hannah travels with her own ESC, who appears in many of the photos of her journey. I had to look up Hannah and her adventures, and of course that led me to knitting my own chicken. No giggling please—ESCs are a thing. Google it and don’t look back.
