Malmesbury
Another late night blip!
I've been to a camera club summer evening meetup, in Malmesbury. An interesting place. I don't think I've been there before.
This was the second photo I took, part of a stained glass window in the abbey. I really liked the way a light inside the abbey picked out the face of one of the figures in the glass. The first photo I took was the gravestone of Hannah Twynnoy, a barmaid believed to be the first person to be mauled to death by a tiger in Britain, in 1703. I wonder who the second person was etc etc.
It was a super summery evening, a nice wander around the town followed by a pint of Guinness in a pub and a long chat with the other members, including fellow blipper endorfin.
In other news I had my telephone appointment with a GP this morning, booked several weeks ago. Nothing serious I hope but as I expected he wants to see me, so I have booked the first available appointment, 8th July.
