Entered the eldest for a competition today, he had to draw a d-day poster and did a wonderful job - got up at 6.30 this morning to finish it. He has been really interested in the d-day commemorations. 

I struggled to get work motivation, until the end of the day when we had a comms issue and I had to swing into action to sort out a few things. Ended up working late because of my day time inefficiency. 

Car drama  today, think we've sorted it. Our wonderful, ancient second car is threatening to die on us. However, we think we have rescued it. Never a dull day.
