Birds

A little walk in the evening with closer than usual encounters with birds. First a lapwing was flying around quite near and I managed to get several shots of it. One in the extra #1. Next a wagtail was singing on a willow by the pond, letting me shoot from just a few metres. Then I walked near the swans without noticing. They walked to the other side of the ditch with the cygnets that hatched 2-3 days ago (extra #2). Then eight mallards surprised me by taking off from the same ditch. Four of them in the extra #4.

Showers again, but just one millimetre by 10 pm, but more coming at night. Temperature topped at +15 like yesterday, though with less variation during the day.
