I want to ride my bicycle...

.. as the famous pop song used to go. Ever since I got a Royal Scott tricycle for my fifth birthday - a long long time ago - I've been besotted with bikes and riding.
There are some amazing, and amazingly expensive, bikes around now, but I'd happily go back to having just a 5 speed down tube shifter type if the roads could be as traffic free as they were in the 1970's and 1980's.
