S/S Hurma
Today was a much cooler day than in the past month. I had already time to get used to temperatures of almost thirty degrees, so the +10 degrees of Celcius in the morning seemed almost freezing. In addition, it rained heavily in the morning, which was only good for nature suffering from drought.
During the day, the temperature rose to over fifteen degrees, so it was pretty nice weather to take a 12-kilometer evening walk around the Saimaa Canal. This steamship Hurma, built in 1902, happened to be on my way when it was coming out of the Mustola lock. The ship is currently the representative ship of the UPM Kymmene company.
