Looking out ...

... wistfully.

Today was really beautiful which allowed us to get out for our Sunday walk.  Since we needed to go to Lidl for some shopping we decided on Hugh Moore Park ... which is nearby.

There are two sections to the park and we had hoped to go to the canal side which has a canal boat that's pulled by two mules.  When we drove down we saw that one of the roads leading to this side of the park was closed ... so we took the trail that was nearby the parking lot.  As we got to the end of that trail we could see across the river that the canal boat was going down the river.  Darn!  

Seeing that we figured that there had to be a way to the other side of the park.  Google Maps to the rescue.  When we got to the other side we could see that the boat was at the landing dock and passengers were disembarking ... but no mules could be seen.  Thankfully we found them in their stables.  I didn't have the right lens on at the time to get a wide angle shot so this is an extreme close up!
