Very Tall

I explained my planting plan to friend J, ie tall plants for interest but without blocking light so I can see through them . I think it's called safari planting.  Anyway, last year J gave me some babies to take home.  One of the babies has grown into this very tall plant . It's about 5' high. Valerian.   Success.
