Dry until 2pm

Every Scout leader prays for a dry last day at camp and despite some overnight moisture we enjoyed a dry, occasionally sunny morning perfect for drying canvas. As soon as it was possible, I gave the order to strike the tents and I could relax for the remainder of the day safe from the torture of hanging wet canvas in the hall.

Owen came over for dinner later and we ate from the freezer as it needs to be empty by Friday.
