Linz, Austria.

It has been 9 years since Paladian and I last walked this square, and I am pleased to be back in Linz again. This is the main town square. Linz is on the Danube in Upper Austria.

In the centre is the Marian and Holy Trinity column. Also known as the Plague Column. Seen in closeup in the extra. It remembers and celebrates the deliverance from the plague epidemics. The column was designed by Antonio Beduzzi in 1713 and finished in 1723.
