The Birthday Boy

It’s been a busy day, two appointments for Doug, one in Timaru (eyes) the other in Waimate (physio). 
In between appointments we managed to go out for a birthday lunch choosing a cafe with Vietnamese cuisine.  In front of Doug is deep fried prawns with green rice and shredded coconut served with a chilli sauce.   He said it was delicious,  I wasn’t so happy with my choice.
Two FaceTimes for the birthday boy….one from Lexi in Townsville as her Dad drove her to school, the other this evening from Ella at university in Dunedin.  Lucky aren’t we.
