International pigeon rescue

This handsome boy has been hanging around our house for a few days. We've been feeding him seed and thinking about catching him as he has two cuffs on. Today Steve was working on the front garden and he was practically getting under his feet so he just picked him up. One of the cuffs had a phone number on, the other an ID number. We called... his name is The Massac Cock, due to the fact he won the Massac race. He's from Barrow-In-Furness and has been missing for two weeks after being released in the south of France. International pigeon rescue (a network of fanciers who retrieve and deliver lost pigeons throughout the world wide network, apparently) are on their way! They better be wearing superhero costumes when they get here or i'll be most disappointed!
