Teignmouth

Another hot day in Devon.  We took the Shaldon ferry to Teignmouth and after coffee at The Riviera had a mooch around buying a paper and lunch on the way.  We then went to Back Beach to try and find some shade amongst the beach huts to sit whilst we ate lunch.  Very pleasant.

Later we caught the ferry back, visited The Yummy Shop in Shaldon to pick up a parcel for a friend, and walked back to the chalet via the Botanic Gardens.

Cup of tea on the balcony then Colin came around for a meal which we also had alfresco.

Whilst we were walking through Teignmouth we passed the backs of some of the houses. I often find the back of houses more interesting than the front and today's photo shows two such backs of neighboring houses.
