Wonderful

How can it be Blip time already?

Where did my day go?

Seems like it was active and busy.

My main event was resuming my quest for kilometres because I still hope to reach 150km before the fundraiser ends on Saturday. My plans were knocked off course last week by that wee cold virus.

I clocked up 6.94km today just by walking to the library and back (the long way). I had to go there anyway, so that made them nice, easy kilometres. I rewarded myself with a coffee and doughnut at Cafe Wemyss. Keeping my energy (and enthusiasm) levels high is part of the challenge - a wee treat now and again helps with both.

On my wander I met two people I have not seen for years and that made the whole outing even more rewarding.

My Blip is just my lunch... a smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich made with sourdough baguette and a vinaigrette for the fish and cucumber. It was a low food-mile lunch - the salmon is from Orkney and the bread and cucumber from here in Fife.
