Jackdaw

It was my turn for breakfast in bed and I realised when the elder tree is taken down this week I will no longer see it, and the accompanying elder flowers/berries/birds through the window.......

I thought I would take some photos of the birds before it goes and liked the intent look of the jackdaw before it chose its space on the feeding tray.

Sad news today that Michael Moseley has been found and my thoughts are with his family.  I was a big fan of his podcasts and he came across as a very genuine man.
