Sweet Williams

When I posted on Friday I hadn’t heard the latest bad news. One of my former colleagues who I worked very closely with has died while visiting family and friends in Australia. We had lost touch since I retired but I’m still left reeling that another light has gone out in the world.
So lots of the weekend has been taken up with last bits of preparation for the trip to Portsmouth for my niece’s funeral next week and sifting through photos for pictures for H’s sisters.
There will be a memorial service later in the year in the UK when I’m sure a lots of us will still be wondering why the world has lost such a big personality wrapped up in the tiniest kindest person.
